Bison Tongue


  • tongue
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • 1 onion
  • 6 shallots
  • 6 garlic closes
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 teaspoons pepper (hot/black/white, whatevs)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cloves (if you live them)

  • Cover with water and cook 6-8 hours on low in a crock pot.
  • Remove the tounge.
  • Removed the outer layer (should be easy if cooked) and chop it up.

  • Makes good meat for tacos or with beans and cabbage!
